So
let's catch up. I am a single male with a very fulfilled
life thus far. I may have had my proverbial bumps in the
road with inevitable disappointments, but not all is lost.
I've been bringing all that was missing from my life back.
I don't drink much anymore and I have quit smoking
cigarettes today, hope that remains the case in the
future. I like my job and everyone I've been sharing my
life with. So that's that.
Enough rambling.
Today was interesting. Work was
busy and boring. I kept pranking customers and insulting
most. The ignorance of some people. I felt as if they were
children when intoxicated. Customers became scarce early
with no rush after, it was virtually dead for 3-4 hours.
One girl walked in late and was a bit tipsy. I talked it
up with her when her pizza was being baked. It wasn't even
fair. After a bit more cleaning I started having a
conversation with this woman, who my friend Steve would
say "had an ass like an onion".
I urged her to shotgun a Natural
Light we confiscated from a customer in the restaurant
earlier. She gladly took the challenge and zealously
snatched the can from my hand. With me and my co-workers
cheering her on she downed it in 2 gulps. She looked like
a star with that can of piss clenched in her hand. Surely
the best beer shotgun I've seen in my life.
We were so excited that she did
this that we made her sign a piece of cardboard; she had
to do this twice because her first signature wasn't up to
her standards. We hung it up on the wall for all to see.
She took the previous attempt and shoved it in her pants
and started dancing. Most of us were entranced.
She then ran up to me and started
attacking me with her mouth and inviting me to come out
with her. She then left and we took shots to me when we
were done with work.
I love my job.
So today is 4/20/08. Great day
for many people of all walks of life. Today is a day for
life, nature, God, civil liberties, freedom and laughter.
