Comix 6.9.06.:.7:34am

Ok, sheesh no time to write things down lately. Could be because I am lazy but as of late I have been working diligently. Since I completed Molly's site I was kinda free with my time. I had my 20th birthday on the 28th. It was eventful and teh gifts were teh r0x0r indeed.
Meanwhile I've been enjoying Xbox Live (gift from Jess :-D) if you also have XBL look me up at AdroitFiasco. I am steamed that someone already had RadioFiasco. I mean c'mon! I've had that shit for the past 6 years. I feel robbed like someone took my SSN or something. Oh well...
So anyways I met up with a friend I losted contact with, Moe. Haven't seen him in 1 year and some odd months. Didn't really make an effort to get ahold of him though. He used to talk about moving to Maine so I figured he was there. I couldn't get any information since I was recovering from a concussion (car wreck aftermath). This disheartened me for two reasons. 1) Moe was a man with sound advice and could hold his own at Risk. 2) He has the most amazing comic book in the works. His art is teh pwnage and it confuses the shit outa me why he isnt alrdy in the profession.
Luckily when we got to talking I found he was getting a website together to get the fact that he has a comic book out there for the world to see. He also makes custom action figures and some paintings. Unfortunately for Moe the guy doing his site fucked up in every way imaginable so naturally I stepped in. We had to take all the pics for his custom toys since the other guy had either out of focus shots or too dark, or even both! Took around 100 pictures and we only did 1/3 of them all!
So now I am piecing the site together whenever I get the chance. So far I've gotten some of the custom figures up and such. Not going to throw a link on here just yet but expect one along with a new blog every other day! Now I swear I'll make an effort to pull through on that :-p

My pet peeve: Stoopid people 6.12.06.:.9:38pm

This hasn't really been a fun week. My being lazy is to partly to blame. You see I never really check my mail. I am lucky if I check it 3 times a month. Well today I received a letter stating that I did not pay my insurance and it will be cancelled tomorrow. Now, I paid this May 26th, I have the documentation but they still had routing issues.
Now what pisses my off is that I actually went to a place to pay it instead of mailing it. The way they handle the bill is just taking down my routing number and account info from the check and doing it electronically. I still have the check with a big black VOID written on it. Since this woman did all this on her peecee there is no reason it had not been her fault. Knowledge of typing should be a requirement now-a-days... Took care of that today and when I called the insurance company they even said that they received payment May 26th but had errors.
Today I got a couple job offers which I will hurriedly act upon. I need to get out of this rut I've been in before it is too late to fix anything. Can't believe June is half way over... Lately I've been spending my time doing a friend of mine's site and that has been fun. Wednesday we are going to edit his comic book with dialog, hope that goes well. The problem with that is that he hadn't taken into consideration the place for dialog so we might end up covering some insane illustrations over with dialog boxes.
Been looking for places to publish this comic. Comixpress seemed logical since it is cheap and ships for you no hassle. The problem with that route was the fact that they have strict rules established that state:

"We will not print any material which defames or violates the right of privacy or publicity, or any copyright, trademark right or any other right of any third party or which may be abusive or threatening to any third party, advocate any illegal activity, or be obscene, pornographic or violate any law."

In his comic he has a character that takes part in drug related activity (doing them). It's not to make the character hip or appealing to the kids reading the book or anything but part of the story and cannot be taken out. So now him and I are back at square one with publishing this thing. If you have any suggestions and/or where to accomplish this please email me with information plz kthnx.
