Yesterday was a bit interesting. Dan came over and brought a
great bottle of whiskey over. As we drank he was schooling me at
chess; which almost never happens. Later we stepped out for some
air and was greeted by my neighbor Bryan. He hung out with us
for a bit with some Link 2004 golf. I was surprised that he
could pick the game up so easily. For the rest of the night we
played some games involving a ping pong ball and many plastic
cups for a few hours until we got hungry.
In an idiot stupor with empty stomachs
Bryan and I stumbled down to OSU's taco place which was closed.
This was the only place extremely close and it was raining but
despite that we decided to walk 7 streets down to a Taco Bell.
We must have passed 20 authority figures in the process but we
kept our cool. The night ended with me crashing at his place
which I feel upset Jessica :-\
In other news I am finding alot of
interesting bugs in my new apartment. Here a some pictures: bug1
bug2
I sent the pictures to my Grandfather since he owns Critter
Ridders and so far he has only
evaluated the first one with:
Hey
Nick,
Good Image thanks,
That bug is the boxelder bug.
I have 2 pieces of information about that little
critter. For the most part they are just a nuisance.
They pose no health hazards and they do not bite.
However, they can be a real pain if their numbers are
large. This is the time of the year they are seen
indoors. Here is some info at my site but your image is
better http://www.pestcontrol-products.com/beetle_facts.htm
Also, here is some of the same info but the image
is much better and identical to yours with the exact
true colors. Your Mom just put this up yesterday (she
runs his website among others)
