Where to start? Jeebus, lately the events around here have had
it's ups and downs. First let us start with the negative so we
can end thing blog on a good note or two.
The Honda: For the past year my
car has been making a clicking noise as I turn, but one night it
changed. As I was turning out of work it started squealing. This
worried me since I has to drive 30 miles home going 70 mph on a
freeway (270). In that case I called my loved ones letting them
know that if I died that I loved them. Needlesstosay they were
worried.
The Drive shaft: So I took my
car to a Honda dealership. Yes I know, a dealership might screw
me but I was pleasantly surprised. They informed me that it was
the drive shaft and that it would take a week to fix it. That
worried me since I didn't feel like bumming rides off of people.
The Buick: My girlfriend Jessica
was escorting me around town and to work but eventually I got a
ride from a guy at work, Rob. Since he was dropping me off I
figured I would show him the Buick. But as I approached the POS
car I noticed a bright green sign on the window. It stated that
my car would be towed the next day for the reason of a flat
tire. So I ran out and bought a can or two of Fix-a-Flat and
pumped the shit in the tire as best I could. We couldn't move
the tire to a "6 o'clock" position as the directions
stated since the damned thing probably weighs 3 tons. The
tire was then fixed for the time being. I also put
a sign on the window just in case the tow guy wasn't
paying attention.
The Buick (Part 2): I kept a
close eye on the Buick the day of the towing and no one showed
up so I decided it'd be okay to goto work. I got ready and was
out the door at 2pm with Jessica. When I came back home at
11:30pm I found that I have been robbed! Someone stole my $450
spoiler off my $100 car! This pissed me off so I got
a piece of obnoxiously bright orange poster board, wrote on it
and taped it on
the back of my Buick. I figured that if someone was
taking it and someone saw them they might have figured that they
owned the car but indeed did not! They even tried to
break the key lock on the trunk since they couldn't get the
mounts for the spoiler. Little did they know that my doors do
not lock so they could have just went inside the car and popped
it lol.
The Drive shaft (Conclusion):
Ready for the good news? If you remember correctly I said that
the dealership said that it would have taken a week to fix my
car but instead they surprised me. They told me that they found compatible
parts that were new instead of refurbishing my current drive
shaft. They slapped them in they that day and my car was fixed!
Yay? My car is still squealing when it turns but not clicking so
idk. I am going to call them tomorrow.
Moving: Since I am moving in a
week I figured my apartment complex would let me only pay 15
days and pro-rate me. A big NO on that one :-(. More $$$ spent
right before school starts. I don't need any of this.
Well that's seems to be about it. I
would like to say thank you to anyone who has helped me thru any
of this. I am eternally grateful, thank you! Ohya, and that
Chocolate fone is cool :-p hedberg |
